Othello.

Sadly the themes in this play are as relevant and poignant as when they were written - racism, isolation, toxic masculinity, domestic violence and “fake news”. This is why we felt it was an important play for our predominately high school student audiences to watch. Dealing with these issues was a challenge but because of our delightful cast, an extremely rewarding experience.

Cast: Othniel Mani, Dominic Gruenewald, Samantha Winsor, Stefanie Funnell, Rizcel Gagawanan, Sean Lyall, Keshini De Mel & Anna Williamson.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream.

A Midsummer Night’s Dream is the gateway play for many people - it seemed the obvious choice for our first production. Whether it’s the delightful joy (and pain) of amateur theatre personified by The Mechanicals, the downright debauchery of The Fairies or the interchangeable infatuations of The Lovers, this play has the ability to make you laugh til you cry or cringe til you die.

Cast: Daniel Bunton, Stefanie Funnell, Sonya Kerr, Cooper Mortlock, Alex Robson, Shea Russon, Anton Smilek & Samantha Winsor.
